Mao Zedong (“Mao”) is a respectful, affectionate, and well-mannered Doberman who is looking for a carefully matched forever home where his preferences and personality are fully understood and honored.

Mao is scheduled to be neutered and is a very easy dog to live with. He is fully crate trained and potty trained, and he does exceptionally well as a house dog. He understands household boundaries, settles nicely, and is calm and respectful indoors. When left unmonitored for extended periods, Mao does require a belly band, but with structure, supervision, and routine, he remains clean and reliable.

Mao has a clear preference for female companionship, both in humans and in dogs. He bonds more readily with women and does best in a home with female dogs only. He is not suitable for homes with cats and should be placed in a cat-free environment. With the right household setup, Mao is polite, stable, and easy to manage.

His temperament is steady and thoughtful. Mao is not pushy, chaotic, or overly demanding—he is the kind of dog that appreciates calm leadership, consistency, and a predictable routine. He is highly respectful of rules, responds well to direction, and is content being part of a structured household.
